Efah couldn’t control the smug smile that spread on her face as she walked out to meet the hostel mistress, the poor lady looked utter confused.

‘Miss Belladonna’ the hostel mistress called, ‘you said a boy was living in this dormitory with you girls… this doesn’t look like a boy to me.’

The horror on Belladonna’s face was too comical, ‘it was really Anthony that was staying with me I swear! They must have known I’d report them and switched places, you have to believe me!’

The older woman sighed, ‘I think you have an over active imagination young lady, meet me tomorrow morning for your punishment’. She turned to Efah, ‘I’m really sorry about this, it was alarming and I had to confirm’.

‘It’s okay ma’ Efah said and discreetly winked Belladonna who frowned and looked away.

‘That’s it, goodnight girls!’

‘Goodnight ma!’ they chorused back.
