Efah was drenched in cold sweat as the spotlight fell on Tony, what was happening? “And before I get to the juicy details I want to remind you guys that the Slender Cheetahs will be representing us in the locals so I urge them to demonstrate their prowess for us” Selena continued, “everyone to the basketball court!” All the students including the teachers moved out towards the court but she couldn’t see Tony, that boy doesn’t know zilch about basketball!

“Aren’t you coming?” Chris asked.

“I don’t know, I’m not feeling so well” she said rubbing her tummy.

“The clinic will be empty at this time” he said looking at his watch “come watch me play and I promise to take you there after the mock game, okay?” She rubbed his hand and said okay despite having her stomach twisted into knots, the Cheetahs began prepping for the game and she watched Chris drag Tony into the boys locker room, Lord please save us! She prayed. When the game began Tony fumbled a bit and Chris screamed something like “don’t try too hard just have fun” at least that’s what she thinks he’d say but soon Tony begun to pick up and moved with surprising skill, there were a lot of things she didn’t know about the guy, the game ended remarkably with the whole school screaming “Tony! Tony! Christian! Christian!” Efah fell on her knees and shed tears of joy, the Lord loved her so much.

Selena was dumbfounded as she watched Tony display astounding skills on the court, didn’t Donna say Efah was the baller and Tony didn’t know anything about basketball? What if she lied about Tony staying in the girls dorm? The bitch played her for a fool! She gritted her teeth swearing to teach Donna a lesson as she took the mic “don’t mind me, just being silly, wanted to get you guys in the spirit” she said and gave a fake smile “have a good night’s rest guys…!”. Back in the dorm she saw Donna speaking angrily to Efah who was just smiling, whatever Efah replied before leaving angered Donna the more but she ignored it, she might have gotten the wrong fact tonight but that doesn’t mean she’d let Efah off the hook for trying to steal Christian from her, she Selena Ugoche never lets anyone get the best of her! She’d find a way to deal with that Donna, later.
