Episode 6

“Hello mom” Tony said over the phone to his mother, his parents divorced when he was five because mom got fed up of the marriage and she couldn’t care less about him but he loved her anyway.

“It’s Favor not mom, what do you want now?” Mom said emotionless and he hung up, everytime he tried to speak with her he’d end up raw and hurting, why could she not love him? Donna came to join him in the dining hall “hey” she said “excuse me” he stood up and left, his mood was already bad and she didn’t have to add to it.

Efah sneaked into the girl’s dorm and grabbed a dress from Tony’s (hers) drawer, she changed up and applied a little makeup then decided to risk meeting Chris without a mask besides she wanted him to know the real her, she got Tony to dress as himself this way she’d convince Donna she was a girl and Chris that Tony’s a boy thereby killing three birds with one stone. In class she met up with Chris and introduced herself as Efah, they talked for a while and then Selena came and shooed her away, when she was about to leave Chris asked something that almost made her blow her cover “are you Tony?”, “ah… no he’s my twin, why?” She said flustered “it’s nothing you just give off the same vibe”. She rushed from there and narrated everything animated to Tony then they started discussing about their situation but unknown to them Donna had followed her and had heard everything they said.

“The game has been shifted backwards to this week’s Friday just after the party, I suggest you guys start getting ready, we have to be chosen to represent this local government at the regionals or locals whatever just be ready” coach after practice on Wednesday, Efah had made Tony shop for her as she didn’t have money with her and she had to admit he had an excellent sense of fashion. Donna always looked at them and smiled as if she knows something they don’t which was disturbing while Selena was on to her or let’s say Tony as he is her, she’d gotten Chris ‘s number that day so they texted each other a lot, Tony was showing signs of having six packs on his belly which was great as she would have him seduce that Donna.

Is anyone taking you to the party? A message popped in from Chris.

Efah smiled, What? Don’t you have a girlfriend?She sent back and his message came in immediately.

Yeah… somehow but I’d still love to take you. She smiled and put her phone back in her pocket, she wasn’t going to give him an answer now.

Tony spread his outfit on his bed, he was going as Tom Cruise in a tuxedo, that counts as a costume right? He turned to Donna who was pretending to be fast asleep and smiled “you can wake up now, I know you know”.

She turned to him “you know I can tell on you, right?” she said.

“I know but you won’t” he said and she smiled.

“You can be sure but if you’re take me to the party I might let it slide”.

He shook hands with her “then we have a deal”.

The following day was the costume party, Efah was dressed as Queen Nerfetiti and was dazzling everyone at the ball while Chris was dressed as Anthony (Queen Cleopatra’s lover), Tony watched them meet up and also saw Selena shooting venom from her eyes at them, then he saw Donna walk up to her and whispered something in her ear, she smiled devilishly at them (Christian and Efah). Selena went up to the podium and took the mic from the MC “attention ladies and gentlemen, I have an interesting fact to share but for now a round of applause for our star basket ballers Tony and Chris!” She said and the spotlight was flashed upon him and Christian, a deafening round of applause was rendered for them but Tony’s body went cold, the bitch sold them out!
