They kept up with this for a week and the following week Efah was to enter the basketball court for the first time, Christian was one of the players too including his two best friends Pompom and Richard, who the hell names their child Pompom? She wondered why he wasn’t bullied because of his name, “hey yo Tony pass the ball!” Chris called to her frowned, she quickly passed it to him and he kicked it right into the goal post.

“Great teamwork guys, I need you to keep this up as we got competition next month” the coach said.

“But it’s too soon” Chris (actually he doesn’t like his name shortened but she shortened it anyway) whined and the coach sighed.

“I know but this game if we make it to the nationals and win will put you guys on scholarship throughout your Uni and you might be able to go pro if you get noticed” he explained and dismissed them to go clean up.

At the boys locker room Efah refused to clean and Chris was puzzled “you need to bathe, I don’t want you scenting in class” he said.

“I’ll bathe after you guys are done” she said while conscious of deepening her voice to Tony’s sexy drawl but she didn’t quite get it.

“Is your meany small? We promise we won’t laugh at it” Pompom said and smirked.

“What I want is for you guys to leave me alone!” She shrieked and the whole locker room went silent you could hear a pin drop.

“Why do you sound like a girl?” Chris asked and before she could explain a girl strutted into the locker room and went straight for Chris.

“Hello handsome” the girl said and kissed him. “Sally I want to introduce you to my Bro Tony” he said and pointed to me “Tony? Selena, Selena? Tony”.

The girl turned to her and frowned “aren’t you supposed to be fat? When did you get so fit?”, so this girl and Tony had history? Whatever the fuck she was to Tony Efah just decided that she hated her (Selena) especially as she’s Chris’s girl.

“I worked on myself Selena, you just couldn’t see beyond the weight could you?” She spat and Selena frowned and dragged Chris out with her “we need to get going, your bro’s not cool” so Efah was finally left alone to bathe.

Later that night Efah called Tony out for their normal evening jog, she could see he was getting slimmer and he weighed twenty pounds lesser than before making it 76kg and that was way too fast for a week, when they stopped to breathe she asked the question burning in her mind “what history is there between you and Selena?”.

Tony looked surprised “she was my childhood friend but as we grew older and I grew fatter I began to disgust her till she started to avoid and tease me” he said and looked down.

“Are you still crushing on her?” Efah said and he nodded.

“What brought that up anyway?” He asked.

“She’s cozying up to Christian” she said distastefully and Tony busted into laughter and began to tickle her.

“You like him, you like him” he screamed and chased her all the way back to the dorms.

At the hostel as Tony prepared to sleep his roommate Belladonna propped her head on her hand “Slender ‘s planning a costume party for the senoirs” she said.

“Really? That’s cool” he replied, “we’ll need to go shopping”, he arranged his bed and laid on it. Bella laid on her back and faced the ceiling, “sometimes I think you’re gay, you act like that sometimes… or maybe it’s just my imagination, goodnight” she turned off her light and went to sleep, what the hell!
