Lateefah checked her mailbox every twenty minutes, she had taken the scholarship exam of Slender high school and she scored high now she was just waiting to see if she has be chosen, Slender high is an elite secondary school in VI, Lagos for the rich and she heard rumours that they only admitted slender boys and girls but she was curvaceous and she was allowed to take the exam so she could only hope she would be chosen. “Efah darling, a letter came in for you” her mother Miss Azmina Davidson called from the living room, she rushed to there and snatched the letter from her mom, it had the logo of Slender on it, she said a little prayer before tearing it open, it began with Miss Davidson you have been offered admission into-. She dropped it and ran screaming to her mother “mama I made it!”

Tony’s admission letter came at the same time as Efah’s except he wasn’t excited about it, he was a fat boy weighing about 96kg so the only reason why he got admitted was because of his dad’s political influence now he’d have to go through another round of bullying throughout his senior years, “I guess you must be excited” his father Mr Anton Davidson said as they were having dinner later in the night and he frowned “no dad I’m not, Slender high is only for slender people” he said angrily “so you just signed me up for humiliation” he left the dining room annoyed and all his dad did was shake his head. Tony opened his instagram and saw a picture from efah_licious saying ‘I just got admitted into Slender high, if you share my joy hash tag Slender’ he rolled his eyes, at least someone was happy about Slender, he too was a social media celeb but he never posted his pictures, he doesn’t even allow mirrors in his home because he’s not comfortable with what he sees, he hashtagged Slender and tagged her in his comment, he hoped to meet her in school and with that thought went to sleep.
